| Romance Through Text Message |
I found out I have a secret admirer the other day via text message. Normally I'm not a big texter. I'd much rather converse face to face if I can. Even the phone is better than text because at least I can hear the inflection of the other person's voice. But text? How can you convey any sort of emotion?
Now that I think of it, I should know better. As a writer, my success depends on the written word and how well I covey emotion through text. So why would a text message be any different? Consider it a super-short-short, where you only have 50 characters to convey something important.
So now I'm sold on sending romantic text messages to your partner - or for singles like myself, to the person you admire from afar. What do you think? |
